Primo Primer™ is a new product from Hotline for kiln forming glass. Designed for firing at the high end of the fusing range (above 1475°F), it is a kiln shelf primer that can be brushed off - not scraped off - when it’s time to re-prime kiln shelves. It turns into a fine powder and the glass will float on the particles, greatly reducing the likelihood that the primer will stick to the glass. After fusing, cleaning the shelf is as easy as brushing, vacuuming, or cleaning with a damp sponge because the primer has turned to dust.

This product from Bullseye is the latest alternative for kiln wash. for all those "hard core" fusers! Now you can do all the firing without the slop of kiln wash. Is it too thick or Is it too thin? That's right simply lay this 20" x 20" sheet on your kiln shelf, lay out your project, and fire away. No messy kiln wash stuck to the back of your projects! Each sheet is a 1 time use. 

Shelf primer is a high temperature, low fluxing clay and alumina mixture in a special formulation containing suspension agents and a color coded dye that burns off at 800degrees.  The best insurance that fused work will not stick to the kiln.  1lb.
